SnowFreak is a simple finger-friendly application which presents actual snow reports, weather conditions and forecasts and pistes conditions for more than 300 well known ski resorts over the world.
Easy to use resort selection dialog allows quick orientation over situation in your favorite ski locations.
Program is now in early beta phase, lacks many things and features and is intended only for private testing purposes.
This releases are here just to check if project is working and usable on another devices too.
Use at your own risk.
Requirements :
Windows Mobile based PDA with QVGA display running .NET CF 1.0 with internet access. Data footprint is very low, aprox. 500 bytes per resort view.
Application was developed for and fully tested on E-TEN M700 PDA, but it should work on similar or better QVGA device and maybe on nonQVGA devices.
Succesfully installed and tested on E-TEN M700 with WM6.5 and HTC TYTN1.
Installation:
1. Run downloaded *.cab file on your device and install, it should install on your memory card as well.
2. After installation do a soft reset so the included fonts can be used by system.
3. After reboot locate and run SnowFreak located in Programs folder.
On some new revisions of WM reboot is not mandatory.
